Cape Cod Benefit Horse Show

The Cape Cod Benefit Horse Shows offer fun and affordable horse shows that are open to English and Western Riders.  Thank you to everyone who attended the 2009 Cape Cod Benefit Horse Show!  $2000 was raised to help horses in need at the MSPCA-Nevins Farm.  Please click here to visit our 2009 Results page.

For the 2010 season, a series of three horse shows will be held at the Barnstable County Fairgrounds in Falmouth, Massachusetts.  We hope you will be able to join us for a three fun horse shows.  Year-end awards will be offered.

At the conclusion of the series, a year end awards banquet will be held.  Horse/Rider combinations must nominate themselves and attend 2 of the 3 shows to be eligible to receive a year-end award.

As horse-lovers, we are all concerned that current economic turmoil is causing many horse owners to have difficulty providing for their horses' basic needs.  As a result of current economic conditions, many animal shelters are filled to capacity, while their budgets are stretched to the breaking point.  

A portion of the proceeds from the horse show series, therefore, will be donated to the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (MSPCA) at Nevins Farm so that they can continue to help abused, surrendered and injured equines and farm animals.

The MSPCA at Nevins Farm is the only open door equine and farm animal adoption center in New England.  In addition, the MSPCA at Nevins Farm operates a state-of-the-art equine ambulance program.  For more information on the MSPCA at Nevins Farm, please click here.

All horse shows will be held at the Barnstable County Faigrounds, located on Route 151 in Falmouth Massachusetts.  The facility offers permanent bathrooms, two competition rings with plenty of spectator seating, and plenty of room for parking.
